As a Telephony Sales Manager focused on intermediary solutions, you will play a crucial role in surpassing sales objectives and driving new business development to align with organizational goals. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and cultivate opportunities within the market.
You will actively engage with the channel to devise strategies that maximize market potential, participating in sales discussions and meetings to enhance the company's market presence.
Your responsibilities will include managing ongoing relationships and performance metrics while effectively promoting the company's products and services through various communication channels, including virtual meetings, emails, phone calls, and occasional in-person visits. Your work will be divided between office-based tasks (approximately 75%) and field visits to partner organizations (approximately 25%).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide insights into relevant market conditions to guide company strategy for intermediary distribution.
- Achieve business targets by identifying opportunities and managing relationships with preferred partners, promoting the company's offerings.
- Develop and articulate account and territory plans to key stakeholders while coordinating tactical initiatives to optimize results.
- Analyze broker performance and market opportunities, leveraging a strong understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Deliver timely performance updates and reports to senior leadership, ensuring effective communication and identifying potential business risks.
Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Demonstrated experience in business-to-business development and sales within the mortgage or lending sector.
- Solid understanding of the packager model, clubs, and networks.
- Ability to create a comprehensive contact strategy with accounts.
- Proven track record of meeting targets and KPIs.
- Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities.
- Effective objection handling and problem-solving skills.
