About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at A&P Group Ltd. As a key member of our Project Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our latest endeavour, a full turn-key equipment project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and expedite all aspects of the project, including fabrication, outfitting, coating, and commissioning.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, structural, and fabrication engineers, to ensure the project meets all safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Navigate through challenges and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Ensure build methodology efficiencies and maintain the project schedule.
  • Select, negotiate with, and oversee subcontractors to ensure their work aligns with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Address and resolve technical or operational issues during the project to minimize disruptions.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and other stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of fabrication, structural, and production processes, with qualifications in Engineering, Production Management, Construction, or similar.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in commercial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Ability to manage and negotiate with technical subcontractors effectively, using strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working experience with relevant software and tools, such as CAD and MS Project.
