Project Engineer - Full Turn-Key Equipment Project
A&P Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at A&P Tyne. As a key member of our Project Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of a full turn-key equipment project, including fabrication, outfitting, coating, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, structural, and fabrication engineers, to ensure the project meets all safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Navigate complex challenges and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ensure build methodology efficiencies and maintain project schedules and budgeted hours.
- Select, negotiate with, and oversee subcontractors to ensure their work aligns with project timelines and quality standards.
- Address and resolve technical or operational issues to minimize disruptions.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of fabrication, structural, and production processes, with qualifications in Engineering, Production Management, Construction, or similar.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Experience in commercial management, including budgeting and cost control.
- Ability to manage and negotiate with technical subcontractors effectively, using strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working experience with relevant software and tools, such as CAD and MS Project.

Security Clearance:
