Project Engineer - Full Turn-Key Equipment Project

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at A&P Group. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of full turn-key equipment projects, from fabrication to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project team to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project meets all safety, quality, and performance standards
  • Develop and implement build methodology efficiencies to maintain project schedule and achieve budgeted hours
  • Select, negotiate with, and oversee subcontractors to ensure their work aligns with project timelines and quality standards
  • Address and resolve technical or operational issues during the project to minimize disruptions
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and other stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of fabrication, structural, and production processes, and engineering principles with qualifications in Engineering, Production Management, Construction, or similar
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Experience in commercial management, including budgeting and cost control
  • Ability to manage and negotiate with technical subcontractors effectively using strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working experience with relevant software and tools like CAD and MS Project

A&P Group offers a competitive salary based on experience, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, 4% pension contribution, company health shield, and death in service benefit. Due to the nature of our work, some roles may be subject to security control restrictions. You will be required to undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check before your employment starts, which will include a basic DBS check.
