About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at A&P Group. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our marine projects, working closely with our customers and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and profitable delivery of projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Project Engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to help them grow in their careers.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring that all work is safe, compliant, and delivered to the required quality standard.
  • Procurement and Budget Management: Manage procurement processes, budgets, and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project results.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure that project requirements are met and that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Engineering Qualification: Hold an engineering qualification, preferably in marine applications or similar.
  • Project Management Experience: Have experience in project managing mid to large-scale projects in the marine industry.
  • Technical Skills: Be proficient in MS Office and planning tools such as MS Project or similar.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong leadership, problem-solving, risk management, and relationship management skills.
  • Procurement and Budget Management Skills: Have experience in procurement and budget management, including data analysis, Excel, and management reporting.
