A&P Tyne is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in monitoring, maintaining, and reporting the progress and financial achievement of our projects to our Project Managers.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in an engineering or structural engineering environment, with a strong understanding of project management principles and commercial experience. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and solutions to project challenges, coordinating and expediting with cross-functional teams, and preparing and implementing work packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the Project Execution Plan outlining how, when, and by whom targets are to be achieved
  • Provide technical guidance and solutions to project challenges
  • Monitor, maintain, and report progress and financial achievement of the project
  • Coordinate and expedite with cross-functional teams
  • Prepare and implement work packages
Requirements:
  • Competency with MS Office and planning tools (MS Project)
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience in an engineering or structural engineering environment
  • Qualification at HNC/ Degree in marine or a related discipline
  • Commercial experience and knowledge of project management principles
