About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our team at Concrete Repairs Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the management of our entire fleet, comprising of approximately 150 vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cost efficiency and reduce fleet costs
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations related to fleet operations
  • Communicate with insurance providers and arrange necessary insurance coverage for drivers and vehicles
  • Assist in the development and implementation of effective policies and procedures for fleet management
  • Manage vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimize downtime
  • Monitor driver behavior and performance
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of vehicle inspections and services
  • Monitor and control fleet costs to ensure they remain within budget
  • Conduct carbon reporting for vehicles

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a transportation or logistics industry
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accurate and detailed record-keeping skills
