Discovered MENA is collaborating with a prominent eCommerce organization in search of a forward-thinking Lead Experimentation Strategist to spearhead our data analysis and experimentation efforts. This pivotal role is crucial for fostering data-informed decision-making through sophisticated experimental frameworks, causal analysis, Bayesian methodologies, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate A/B tests and multivariate experiments to enhance the eCommerce platform's performance.
- Utilize causal analysis techniques to assess the effects of interventions and extract actionable insights.
- Establish Bayesian testing protocols to improve the reliability of experiments.
- Employ statistical and machine learning methods for forecasting essential business metrics and crafting predictive models.
- Interpret experimental data to produce insights and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with product managers, marketing teams, engineers, and data scientists to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Communicate findings to senior management and other relevant parties.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in experimentation techniques and promote ongoing enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related discipline. A PhD is advantageous.
- Over 5 years of experience in designing and analyzing experiments, ideally within an eCommerce or digital marketing context.
- Robust expertise in causal analysis, Bayesian statistics, and predictive modeling.
- Proficient in R, Python, SQL, and data visualization software.
- Familiarity with A/B testing platforms.
- Outstanding analytical skills coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
