About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of our Digital Twin programme, a pivotal initiative in our journey towards carbon neutrality by 2030. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the critical implementation phase of this transformative project, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Digital Twin project from inception to execution, overseeing the design, setup, and optimisation of data systems for real-time monitoring and improved operational outcomes.
  • Manage and optimise processes for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting, ensuring smooth integration across various systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Borough partners, and external consultants to ensure alignment and drive data-led operational changes.
  • Leverage data insights to model public engagement and resident behaviour impact on service performance, shaping more efficient, community-friendly waste management solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices for data security and governance, leading efforts to document and manage data access policies.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of managing large, data-centric projects, especially those driving operational efficiency in waste or similar sectors.
  • Experience with designing and implementing data systems, including real-time monitoring and performance optimisation, either directly or through managing technical contractors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to engage with senior stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams.
