About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Meet and Greet Customer Service Operative at our Morrisons store in Penrith.

As a key partner to Morrisons Supermarkets, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers as they enter the store and provide directions or information to ensure they find the products they are looking for.
  • Ensure a clean and welcoming environment by maintaining a tidy workspace and adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Provide information on current sales and promotions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, health and safety, and data protection.
Requirements and Skills
  • Proven work experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of customers.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to use point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to cover shifts as required.
  • Physical fitness to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (if necessary).
