About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mathematics Curriculum Leader to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the mathematics curriculum, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education that meets their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored mathematics curriculums for our students, taking into account their individual learning needs and goals.
  • Lead and manage the mathematics team, providing guidance and support to ensure that our students receive a high-quality education.
  • Work closely with our teaching assistants to ensure that our students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Monitor and record student progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies to promote mathematics in a positive way across the school.
Requirements
  • Ability to teach mathematics to Level 2 (GCSE/Functional Skills).
  • Patience, compassion, and resilience – our students may have neurodiverse needs that impact their learning behavior and communication.
  • A genuine interest in a career focused on the education of people with a wide range of needs.
  • A driving license – our students love to learn in a wide range of settings.
