About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pension Administration Trainee. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our administration activities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pension Administration Trainee, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administering casework in accordance with client service agreements and deadlines, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work activity.
  • Identifying and raising with the Assistant Administration Manager any areas of risk in the administration.
  • Undertaking any other ad hoc tasks that may be required as part of the benefits administration.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Education to secondary level, including a minimum of grade C in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft products, particularly Outlook, MS Teams, and Excel.
  • Experience of working with systems, following processes and procedures.
  • Experience working within a team towards a common goal.
  • Accuracy and ability to follow instructions.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and to be self-motivated.
  • Customer service focus.

Desirable Knowledge/Experience

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Administration experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of The Pension Regulator.

SAUL Trustee Company is a leading provider of pension administration services, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. We are a friendly team of around 60 people who work part of the week from home and at least two days each week in our central London office.

We are responsible for collecting the money members and employers pay into SAUL, managing where that money is invested, and ensuring we pay the right pension to the right person at the right time.
