About the Role

Ogier is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Administrator to join our team. As a Trainee Administrator, you will play a key role in the administration of complex funds, management companies, and associated fund structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the formation and ongoing administration of a range of funds, management companies, and associated fund structures, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and coordinate the timely execution of documentation, including minutes, resolutions, and correspondence.
  • Process and reconcile bank payments to settle fund expenses, and maintain accurate records.
  • Produce and circulate invoices, collect fees, and chase debtors.
  • Maintain accurate investor records on ViewPoint and Investran, and process investor changes and transfers of interest.
  • Support the coordination of routine fund operations, including investor calls and distributions.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and administration tasks as required by your manager or clients.
  • Supervise and assist in the training of junior team members, providing feedback and identifying additional training needs.
  • Ensure data integrity and attention to detail in all activities, with a focus on utilizing systems to drive efficiency and client service.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and procedures to drive alignment and consistency across the team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, policy enhancements, and service innovation changes that would improve the client experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures, including those related to anti-money laundering and terrorist financing.

Requirements

  • Strong academic background.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of the MS Office package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in using ViewPoint and Investran would be an advantage.
  • Responsive and client-focused with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
