Job Title: Image Researcher

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Image Researcher to become a vital part of our Digital Content Team. The Image Researcher will play a key role in sourcing, selecting, and managing visual content for our various digital platforms while also supporting image research for print materials associated with our events. A critical aspect of this position will involve ensuring the appropriate rights clearance and proper attribution of images, alongside maintaining our extensive image archive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with different teams to provide images for both print and digital formats in a timely manner.
  • Conduct comprehensive image research for publications, curating high-quality visuals that resonate with editorial narratives.
  • Ensure rights clearance and acquisition of images while adhering to budgetary constraints and licensing agreements.
  • Curate visual content for social media initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Oversee the management of the image archive for current and previous presentations at events.
  • Stay updated on industry developments related to image research and copyright regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art History, Visual Arts, Media Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in image research and rights management, ideally within a publishing or creative agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of copyright laws, licensing agreements, and digital asset management systems.
  • Proficiency in image editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A creative eye for selecting visually compelling images.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their specific image requirements.
  • A genuine passion for the arts and visual culture.
