About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to join our team at the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust - WWT. As a key member of our Experience and Engagement team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering high-quality visitor experiences that connect people with nature and inspire them to protect it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programmes of work to raise the standards of presentation, service, accessibility, interpretation, and programming across our wetland sites.
  • Work closely with site teams, central teams, and external contractors to deliver projects and initiatives that enhance the visitor experience.
  • Develop resources, including best practice guides and inspiration packs, to support site teams in delivering exceptional visitor experiences.
  • Lead the Experiences Academy, developing the knowledge and skills of colleagues through webinars, workshops, and events.
  • Oversee the management of our creative database and research creative partnerships to drive innovation and excellence in visitor experiences.
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and creative individual with excellent communication and project management skills. You will have experience in copywriting and editing, and be able to develop engaging content to support our visitor experiences. You will also have the ability to lead and motivate teams, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
