Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-oriented individuals to join our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing technologies within the Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.

The primary responsibilities of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, executing timely preventative maintenance, and enhancing equipment availability through ongoing improvements.

Shift Requirements
This position involves working in a non-traditional shift pattern, which may include evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide and mentor technicians during shifts.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement of systems uniformly across the EU network.
  • Understand and apply OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and equipment performance metrics.
  • Oversee contractor management.
  • Handle escalations to specialized subcontractors as necessary.
  • Perform engineering tasks categorized as basic, standard, advanced, and expert (Levels 1-4), with responsibilities for Levels 1-3 for reactive and planned tasks, while Level 4 requires specialist intervention.
  • Manage critical spare parts inventory using an EAM system.
  • Coordinate and execute planned preventative maintenance on a comprehensive range of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) within the facility.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or a minimum qualification of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3, SVQ/IVQ).
  • Proficient in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex systems.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of PLC-based control systems.
  • Experience utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for proactive maintenance planning.
  • Effective communication skills in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
Additional Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize various projects effectively.
  • Experience in managing multiple contractors.
