About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join our Senior Management Team at EACH Counselling and Support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating specific contracts and services to ensure high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Participate as a member of the Senior Management Team, providing guidance and support to staff as required.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and partners.
  • Service Development: Promote EACH and contribute to the development of our online presence.
  • Compliance and Governance: Adhere to EACH's health and safety policy, confidentiality policy, and other relevant policies and procedures.
  • Service Improvement: Identify, monitor, and respond to issues and risks that may arise within the services.
  • Staff Development: Contribute to an effective system of recruitment, induction, training, and professional development of staff and volunteers.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Ensure data and monitoring systems are implemented and interpret information and data to generate and provide reports.
Requirements:
  • Counselling Qualification: Counselling qualification and registration with a recognised professional counselling body.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Evidence of continuous professional development, learning, and training relevant to the post.
  • Line Management Experience: Line management and/or supervision experience within the health and social care or voluntary sector.
  • Contract Management: Proven experience of managing and delivering contracted services, including setting up new work.
  • Counselling Experience: Experience of providing structured counselling/psychotherapy within a recognised framework in a relevant field.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Recovery Models: Understanding of recovery models and/or trauma-informed practice.
  • Counselling Background: Ability to utilise counselling background to inform EACH's work and service development.
  • Best Practice: Understanding of best practice and ability to apply it within counselling/therapeutic and client-facing services.
  • Management Support: Ability to provide management support and supervision to staff and volunteers/trainees to meet service requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to manage change, performance, problem solve, and apply solution-focused approaches.
