Job Summary

Nationwide Building Society is seeking an experienced Oracle Payroll Consultant to join our People Data and Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring and supporting our Oracle HCM Payroll module to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing for our 18,500 employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and configure Oracle HCM Payroll & Absence functionality to meet business and legislative requirements
  • Provide end-to-end support for Oracle HCM Payroll monthly and annual processes
  • Support absence-related processes and issues, including holiday, sickness, and statutory absence
  • Analyze and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies
  • Lead on change and support activities
  • Support the wider Data team with payroll and absence reports in HCM extract, OTBI, and BIP
  • Liaise with areas of the People Function and wider Nationwide business teams to integrate payroll with other business systems
  • Create and maintain robust documentation, including config workbooks, functional specifications, and impact assessments
  • Upskill colleagues on payroll and absence processes and functionality, and provide support to the payroll team for operational effectiveness
  • Stay updated with Oracle HCM updates and best practices
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle HCM Payroll consultant with a strong understanding of UK legislation and payroll processes. You will have a proven track record of implementing and supporting Oracle HCM Payroll and Absence functionality, with experience of working with multiple Oracle HCM Cloud modules.

You will be an excellent problem-solver with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with stakeholders at different levels. You will also have a strong understanding of payroll processes and UK legislative requirements, with experience of writing and debugging Fast Formula.
