About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Contractor Services Team at Outsource UK. This exciting opportunity will enable you to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service to our contractors, internal stakeholders, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing Timesheets and Expense Claims: Ensuring timely and accurate processing of timesheets and expense claims for payment to our contractor base.
  • Raising Client Invoices: Raising client invoices and ensuring payments are received in a timely manner.
  • Supporting Contractor Care Consultants: Assisting Contractor Care Consultants in answering complex payment or invoicing queries to deliver exceptional customer service.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities

The role involves a range of tasks, including:

Processing Payroll:
  • Ensuring contractors are set up correctly on IT systems.
  • Inputting contractor payroll data and information into CRM and In-Time systems.
  • Checking the quality and accuracy of payroll data and information in readiness for payroll runs.
  • Setting up and running multiple pay-runs throughout each month.
  • Understanding and accurately following payroll processes and procedures.
Invoicing Customers:
  • Ensuring all customers are set up correctly on the IT systems.
  • Inputting customer invoicing data and information into CRM and In-Time Systems.
  • Checking the quality and accuracy of invoicing information and data in readiness for invoicing customers.
  • Understanding and accurately following invoicing processes and procedures.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Managing and resolving queries in the Accounts inbox.
  • Assisting with credit control.
  • Providing monthly reporting of client MI.
  • Resolving queries.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to follow complex processes and procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and Data Validation.
  • A people person, with excellent communication skills.
  • A problem solver, with a willingness to take ownership of queries and liaise with colleagues to resolve issues.
  • Adaptable, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organized, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
