Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of diverse engineering projects across our pharmaceutical site, including infrastructure, formulations, packaging, site utilities, and facilities management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all projects are executed efficiently, on time, and adhere to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with external engineering consultants to drive design deliverables and ensure timely completion.
- Review and issue tenders, ensuring alignment with project scope and customer requirements.
- Prepare tender evaluations and liaise with purchasing to drive order placement.
- Proactively expedite orders and respond to post-tender questions through liaison with key project stakeholders.
- Supervise site installations and commissioning works, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive validation activities to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Develop concept engineering proposals and budget costings, and agree on engineering user requirements and scope of works with internal and external clients.
- Prepare project estimates based on user requirements and scope developed for projects.
- Oversee cost control of project budgets once approved.
- Prepare project programs and monitor progress against milestones.
Requirements:
- Relevant and demonstrable experience of project engineering in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical or chemical sector.
- Experience of infrastructure modifications, including civil refurbishment and mechanical and electrical services installation and modification.
- Project validation experience.
- Experience of successfully managing capital expenditure projects.
