We are seeking a passionate and driven Head of Development & Fundraising to lead our income generation strategy. This role is crucial in ensuring we can continue our vital work and make a lasting impact on global water security.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan encompassing diverse funding streams, including grants, individual donations, corporate partnerships, and social enterprise initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, foundations, government agencies, and potential partners.
- Lead the development of compelling proposals and grant applications that effectively communicate our mission and impact.
- Oversee fundraising events and campaigns, ensuring successful execution and maximizing revenue generation.
- Manage a team of fundraising professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster their growth and success.
- Analyze fundraising data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize our strategies.
- Proven track record of success in fundraising, preferably within the international development or environmental sector.
- Strong understanding of diverse funding mechanisms and donor landscapes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities.
