Job Title: Staff Nurse - Same Day Emergency Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Same Day Emergency Care team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

As a Staff Nurse in our Same Day Emergency Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals presenting with emergency conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
  • Assess and diagnose patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development.
  • Contribute to the development of service and quality improvement initiatives.
Person Specification
  • Active registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development through maintenance of a professional portfolio.
  • Recognised Nursing Degree or equivalent.
  • Post Graduate Teaching Certificate or working towards one.
