Respite Nurse RGN Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respite Nurse RGN to join our team at Nurse Seekers. As a Respite Nurse, you will provide top-notch care and support for children with life-limiting, life-threatening, or severe disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nursing and Family Care: Actively encourage a family atmosphere, contribute positively towards the maintenance of a child and family-focused environment, and ensure all medication is accurately and safely administered, recorded, and stored.
  • Child Care: Give total care to the child during the agreed period of respite, identify and work within your own professional competence and expertise, and take advantage of training opportunities to further develop your skills and expertise.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Liaise closely with all professionals and volunteers working with the child and family to ensure a seamless service, attend staff meetings and team briefings, and participate in other meetings as appropriate.
