Job Title: Staff Nurse - Ward

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Ward team at Winfield Hospital, Gloucester.

About the Role:

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ward policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and effective working environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication, teamwork, and a positive working environment.
Requirements:
  • Registered with the NMC.
  • Surgical experience across a wide range of specialties.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focus service.
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
