As an advocate, you will empower individuals facing Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards by providing crucial support and guidance throughout their journey. Your role will involve conducting initial assessments, ensuring individuals understand their rights, and advocating for their best interests in various settings.
Your Impact:- Conduct thorough triage assessments for individuals subject to Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards as a paid RPR.
- Empower individuals within the community or care settings, including secure facilities, hospitals, care homes, and supported living environments, by helping them understand their rights and available options.
- Represent individuals effectively in situations where they are unable to communicate their views, ensuring their unique preferences and perspectives are considered in decisions regarding their care or treatment.
- Collaborate with a diverse range of health and social care partners to provide comprehensive advocacy support.
