About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adult Safeguarding Practitioner to join our team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure compliance with national and local guidance.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on safeguarding adults, mental capacity, and deprivation of liberty safeguards.
  • Support the Head of Adult Safeguarding in the development and implementation of the Trust's Safeguarding Adults Agenda.
  • Conduct safeguarding-related investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide training and education to staff on safeguarding adults, including face-to-face and virtual training sessions.
  • Support the implementation of effective systems for the prevention, surveillance, and investigation of safeguarding adults concerns.
