Adult & Paediatric Administrator/Crisis Worker-Derby

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Administrator/Crisis Worker in Derby. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative organisation that provides critical support to victims of sexual assault.
As an Administrator/Crisis Worker, you will play a vital role in providing victims with the dedicated support and care required. You will act as an advocate for patients, empowering them to feel in control and supporting them during the forensic examination process.
The role is critical in providing a patient-centered service, ensuring a high standard of DNA decontamination is maintained between forensic cases, and assisting patients and liaising with other agencies regarding the management of historic cases.
This is a full-time vacancy of 40 hours per week, with shift hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. There will also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts as an out-of-hours Crisis Worker on an on-call basis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide telephone information and support to victims of sexual assault.
- Assist in the administration and management process of adult or child patients and their families visiting the centre.
- Support the use of the colposcope and medical care, providing advocacy support for patients and their families.
- Ensure a high standard of DNA decontamination is maintained between forensic cases.
- Assist patients and liaise with other agencies regarding the management of historic cases.
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and children.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adults.
- Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.
- Experience completing administrative duties, including data collection and manipulation.
- Ability to drive and have access to a car 24/7.
