NurtureCare is a leading provider of home-based care services for children and young adults with complex health needs. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young adults with complex health needs in their own homes.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, medication administration, and mobility support.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by maintaining a clean and organized living space.
- Previous experience in care or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Level 2/Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Gastrostomy care
- Chest management
- Seizure management/Emergency medication administration
- Medication administration
- Tracheostomy care
- Personal care
- Moving and handling
- Full UK driver's licence
- Induction and orientation with bespoke training
- Continued professional development/supervisions and appraisals
