Position Summary:

We are looking for a Versatile Engineering Technician to become a part of our dedicated team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep of machinery, enhancing reliability, and reducing downtime to guarantee seamless production processes. Your primary focus will be on safety, adherence to regulations, and fostering continuous improvement efforts.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Build strong partnerships with contractors and colleagues to promote a culture of safety
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards
  • Maintain a secure working environment
  • Assist in plant maintenance and repairs to achieve production goals
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Management Team on enhancement projects
  • Prioritize tasks to boost production efficiency
  • Engage with other departments for ongoing improvement

Qualifications:

  • Formal qualification in Engineering
  • Experience through an apprenticeship
  • Minimum Level 3 certification
  • Over 5 years of experience in the FMCG sector
  • Familiarity with production line equipment and PLC systems
  • Strong electrical competencies and analytical skills
