About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Northside House, a medium secure mental health unit for males over 18 years old. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for the line management of junior staff, monitoring their practice, and identifying learning and development needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, ensuring they maintain professional, therapeutic relationships with patients, carers, and colleagues.
  • Complete ward rotas, ensuring the ward is sufficiently and safely staffed at all times.
  • Support the development and implementation of recovery-focused interventions for patients with mental illness.
  • Provide training and support to other staff members as needed.
