Nurse Leader

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced mental health nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse in the Rollesby Ward, a 10-bedded female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Norwich.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a registered health professional to develop their leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a care team, ensuring patient needs are advocated for, and providing support to staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff in areas related to clinical care, treatment, therapy, and clinical risk assessment and management.
- Offer consultation support and supervision to teams on issues related to nursing practice.
- Be a role model in initiating, facilitating, and promoting excellence in Evidence-Based Nursing Practice.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical care team and relevant departments to utilize information and data to support the implementation and embedding of best practice.
- Develop processes and systems to share learning from local and national research and National guidance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of experience at Band 5.
- Fitness to undergo full PMA training and perform full duties of the post.
