About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Northside House, a medium secure mental health unit for males over 18 years. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for the line management of junior staff, monitoring their practice, and identifying learning and development needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of nurses to provide high-quality care to patients with mental illness.

• Develop and implement recovery-focused interventions to support patients in achieving their goals.

• Provide training and support to junior staff, including non-statutory agencies.

• Demonstrate effective personal planning and organization of daily workloads, managing time effectively according to service clinical judgments.
