As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for the line management of junior staff, monitoring their practice, and identifying learning and development needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining professional relationships with patients, carers, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise junior staff, ensuring they are adequately trained and supported.
- Monitor the practice of junior staff and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement recovery-focused interventions for patients with mental illness.
- Provide training and support to other staff members as needed.
- Manage and prioritize workload effectively, ensuring high-quality care is provided to patients.
