Job Role: Children's Support Worker

As a Children's Support Worker with Nurseplus, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young adults in care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children and young adults in all aspects of their lives, including educational pursuits, hobbies, and activities.
  • Developing and contributing to positive outcomes that shape the future of children and young people.
  • Working closely with children and young adults to understand their needs and provide individualized support.
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice and ensure the well-being of children and young adults.
  • Managing complex behaviors and crisis intervention.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience working within a child and/or young adult setting.
  • All candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations.
  • Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND.
  • Diploma level 3 in children's and young people, desirable level 4.
  • An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration (Cost of which is £45. This will be refunded after a set period of work).
  • A Full UK Driving License.
