About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Facilities Assistant to join our dynamic Facilities Management team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily building walk rounds to identify and report any faults, issues, or housekeeping requirements.
  • Manage meeting room and training room coordination, including setting up furniture and layouts as required.
  • Assist with health and safety responsibilities, including completing monthly safety sampling assessments.
  • Log and report all issues, including arranging repair works with landlords and contractors.
  • Ensure external contractors attend site as scheduled and have necessary documentation.
  • Act as a First Aider and Fire Warden for the office.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, as well as managing on-site merchandise and stock.
  • Coordinate changes to staff and visitor access, including managing access cards and logs.
  • Cover reception duties when the Receptionist is absent.
  • Take on new tasks and assist the business as required.
Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong IT and administration skills, close attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. A proactive approach is essential to ensure the prompt resolution of day-to-day challenges.
