**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Lead to join our team at Michael Page. As a Data Migration Lead, you will play a key role in the delivery of a 12-month project to update our case management system, migrating all our data onto a new platform.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop a detailed plan for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from the old system to the new case management system.
  • Ensure that the data being migrated is clean, accurate, and complete. Implement validation and verification processes.
  • Work closely with IT, business analysts, and test teams to ensure that data migration aligns with the new system's requirements.
  • Identify potential risks in the data migration process, such as data loss or corruption, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the actual migration process, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Conduct post-migration audits and checks to ensure that all data has been correctly transferred and is functioning as expected in the new system.

**Requirements**

  • Demonstrate knowledge of data migration planning, data mapping documentation, data quality assessment, test data preparation, and data cleansing.
  • Proven experience in data migration and transformation projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
