Company Overview: GMA Consulting is a prominent player in the insurance sector, recognized for its exceptional service both domestically and internationally.
Role Summary: We are seeking a qualified Senior Claims Technician to join our Large Loss Property team. In this role, you will manage intricate property claims, including those arising from significant incidents such as fires or floods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively oversee a portfolio of claims valued at £500K+ from initial notification to final settlement.
- Provide outstanding customer service while ensuring precise estimation and control of indemnity expenditures.
- Contribute your expertise to foster the growth of your colleagues and the broader claims community, while establishing strong relationships with Loss Adjusters and other service providers.
- Maintain regular communication with policyholders, their representatives, and underwriting teams.
- Proven experience in managing high-value and complex commercial property claims, with settlements exceeding £500K.
- Educational background at A-Level or degree level, or possess an equivalent professional qualification (ACII/FCII/CILA).
- A motivational leader with a compassionate and adaptable approach to achieving positive results.
- Ability to deliver superior service to clients.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
