Company Overview:

CMG Technologies, a member of the IndoMIM group, is a distinguished expert in Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) and Metal 3D Printing. We deliver superior components across a broad spectrum of industries, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to enhance our finance operations.

Role Overview:

As the Financial Controller, you will be a key player in our leadership team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services to the organization. This position involves regular reporting to the Directors and close collaboration with external advisors, accountants, and auditors to prepare comprehensive quarterly and annual financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of purchase and sales ledgers.
  • Manage the uploading of invoices to Dext and Cin7 systems.
  • Process weekly BACS runs efficiently.
  • Reconcile all bank accounts using Xero.
  • Handle the collation and processing of staff expense claims.
  • Administer monthly employee wages, HMRC payments, and pension uploads.
  • Collect and post credit card receipts, ensuring reconciliation on Xero.
  • Assist with credit control activities.
  • Support Directors and external accountants with various ad-hoc tasks.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial data to Directors and parent company.
  • Conduct stock accounting and reporting.
  • Engage in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Monitor key financial metrics, including company cash flow.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requirements from the parent company.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Effective communication skills at all levels and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Xero (or similar software) and Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of organizational skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar financial role is advantageous.
