Job Title: Regional Motor Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Motor Portfolio Manager to join our team at Aviva. As a Regional Motor Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of the Region's Commercial Motor business plan.

About the Role:

As a Regional Motor Portfolio Manager, you will be a subject matter expert expected to find solutions to complex problems and be capable of creating non-standard insurance solutions. You will support the teams in winning and retaining business through coaching, training, and technical referral sign offs utilising your high technical underwriting license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Region's Commercial Motor business plan
  • Manage and oversee the quality of the business being written
  • Ensure the technical capability is developed to keep pace with growth and the market opportunity
  • Support the teams in winning and retaining business

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in leadership, coaching and mentoring staff and managing underwriting accounts
  • Technical Motor Underwriting expertise and portfolio Management
  • Experience in developing strategic contacts and relationships across the market
  • Experience in managing complex non-standard underwriting arrangements
  • Excellent understanding of the insurance industry with a broad knowledge of external regulators
