Mobile Security Patrol Officer

MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a dedicated Mobile Security Patrol Officer.

The work schedule consists of a 4 on 4 off rotation, with 12-hour shifts available for both day and night operations.

Starting remuneration is £12 per hour, increasing to £12.50 upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to alarm activations; assess for potential break-ins and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as well as MAN Commercial Protection control.
  • Conduct thorough external and internal inspections utilizing Diester or similar devices to document patrol locations and timings.
  • Examine all external and internal access points, including doors, windows, and fire exits, reporting any irregularities. Immediate reporting of Health and Safety concerns to management is essential.
  • Adhere to Mobile Patrol Unlocks/Locks and Patrol schedules.
  • Prepare detailed reports by documenting observations, incidents, and surveillance activities.
  • Follow customer site directives while responding or patrolling.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Inspect the company vehicle regularly and report any defects.
  • Report all incidents to MAN Commercial Protection control without delay.
  • Uphold the organization's integrity and reputation by adhering to legal standards.
  • Conduct monthly site visits to all security personnel.
  • Compile and submit alarm reports to the administrator and manager at the conclusion of each shift.
  • Manage key distribution by checking/signing all keys in and out during shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Comprehensive 5-year checkable work/education history.
  • Possession of a valid SIA DS or SG license is mandatory.
  • A full UK manual driving license is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in mobile patrolling is essential.
