Eden Project seeks a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Technical Services Team.

This full-time position involves maintaining and upgrading the engineering systems, infrastructure, and plumbing that support Eden's unique environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical fluid systems and equipment on-site.
  • Work with industrial pipework, plantroom pumps, heating systems, water services, and more.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and subcontractors as needed.
  • Provide support for events, displays, and research projects at Eden.
  • Train and supervise new staff, trainees, and volunteers.

Requirements:

You will possess qualifications in plumbing or mechanical engineering, along with relevant certifications. A strong understanding of mechanical maintenance procedures, IT skills, and a full driving license are essential. You must be comfortable working in varying climatic conditions and physically demanding environments.
