About the Role

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team at Mencap, based in Seaford. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with a learning disability to live independently and participate in their local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals to manage their daily lives, including budgeting, paying bills, and cooking healthy meals.
  • Build positive relationships with the people we support, promoting their understanding of the world around them.
  • Help individuals access and participate in their local community and social events, promoting life skills and individuality.
  • Assist with personal care, including prompting medication and assisting with bathing, showering, and using the bathroom.
