About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tenancy Sustainment Officer Lead to join our Transformation Team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to Tenancy Support Officers, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver specialist tenancy and housing-related support to vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a single point of contact for Tenancy Support Officers
  • Lead and supervise Tenancy Support Officers, deputising for the Relationships, Contracts and Quality Assurance Manager as needed
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide specialist tenancy and housing-related support
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants and landlords, troubleshooting issues and providing guidance on tenancy-related matters
  • Develop relationships with local authorities and housing associations to improve housing outcomes for patients
  • Assist in the delivery of a high standard of support to vulnerable individuals at risk of homelessness or living in unsuitable accommodation

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree-educated or equivalent experience in an operational field relating to Housing Support and/or Leadership and Management
  • Experience of working with people who have difficulty engaging with services and have mental health needs
  • Experience of working in a community setting, making decisions autonomously, and providing specialist support to vulnerable individuals
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to promote service user involvement and provide written and oral reports

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of service/operational management, including monitoring performance
