Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team. As a key member of our secured litigation team, you will be responsible for acting on behalf of our clients in conveyancing transactions to sell repossessed residential properties from instruction to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with all aspects of the residential conveyancing process, including preparation of memos of sales and auction packs, reviewing residential titles, and providing reports on title.
  • Liaising with clients and solicitors in an efficient and professional manner to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and issuing sales contracts and supporting documents.
  • Answering client queries, providing status advice, and keeping all parties informed on progress of sale.
  • Dealing with exchange of contracts in a timely manner and post-sales matters, including distribution of surplus funds as and where applicable.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's including a minimum C grade in English and Maths.
  • Experience of the Scottish conveyancing process.
  • Strong organisational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a high level of discretion with confidential matters.
  • Sound knowledge of law and legal system, strong attention to detail, and research skills.
