Finance Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team at NC Associates. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the wider finance team with various tasks, including managing ledgers, processing online receipts and cheques, and assisting with bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process daily banking transactions, including online receipts and cheques
  • Ensure companies daily banking exceptions are matched and interfaced
  • Assist with bank reconciliation items and suspense account management
  • Reduce outstanding debtors balance and adhere to companies Credit Control Policy
  • Chase payment using telephone/email and deal with and resolve queries
  • Deal with and resolve cash allocation queries, issue statements and reminder letters, and provide information to assist with the instructing of debt collection agencies
  • Monitor and report on aged debtors as and when required, and assist with accounts payable, inputting invoices and statement reconciliations
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of working within a similar finance role with ideally experience within Credit Control
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • AAT Studier
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and team members
  • An enthusiastic, positive, and can-do approach to tasks
