Finance Assistant Job Description

We are partnering with a leading manufacturing company based in the UK to find a skilled Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounts payable duties, including matching, batching, and coding of invoices.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and efficiently resolve discrepancies.
  • Process both UK and international stock and supplier invoices.
  • Conduct weekly payment runs and input cash book entries.
  • Assist with general ledger analysis and month-end close activities.
  • Provide daily sales reporting and support team members as needed.
Requirements:
  • 12 months+ accounts payable experience with a strong understanding of the full AP process.
  • A quick learner with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new tasks.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups).
  • Experience with stock accounting is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and great organizational skills.
  • A collaborative team player who's proactive and solutions-focused.
