We are partnering with a leading manufacturing company based in the UK to find a skilled Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day accounts payable duties, including matching, batching, and coding of invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements and efficiently resolve discrepancies.
- Process both UK and international stock and supplier invoices.
- Conduct weekly payment runs and input cash book entries.
- Assist with general ledger analysis and month-end close activities.
- Provide daily sales reporting and support team members as needed.
- 12 months+ accounts payable experience with a strong understanding of the full AP process.
- A quick learner with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new tasks.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups).
- Experience with stock accounting is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and great organizational skills.
- A collaborative team player who's proactive and solutions-focused.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Study support considered if required (after probation).
- 25 days of annual leave, plus a company-wide Christmas closure.
