Due to our continued success, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Project Director to lead a new power networks project. We are looking for a leading Project Director with extensive experience in the power industry, who will be responsible for overseeing large-scale power generation and infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

Project Leadership and Strategy
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for power generation and infrastructure projects, aligning project objectives with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and initiatives to ensure successful project delivery and achievement of project objectives.

As a Project Director, you will lead project teams and stakeholders in the development of project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory authorities, government agencies, and community groups.

Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Address stakeholder concerns, inquiries, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships and support for project initiatives.

As a Project Director, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of power generation and infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets. You will also manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Contract Management and Procurement
  • Oversee the negotiation, administration, and management of contracts with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

As a Project Director, you will implement quality management processes and procedures to ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications. You will also conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality checks to monitor project performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Financial Management and Budgeting
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial resources, ensuring effective cost control and budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project expenditures, track financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Director with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale power generation and infrastructure projects. You will have strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary project teams. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is desirable.
