Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential services.

About the Role:
  • Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in our residential services.
  • Support children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests.
  • Encourage and promote the independence and wellbeing of the children and young people in our care.
  • Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with the children and young people.
  • Support the children and young people in their interests, such as climbing and baking cakes.
  • Protect the children and young people from any risks to their health and welfare.
Requirements:
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
  • An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar social care setting.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
