Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our social care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.

About the Role
  • Support the daily needs and activities of children and young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and colleagues to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Participate in weekend and evening activities, trips, and outings to enhance the children's experiences and create lasting memories.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to minimize incidents and promote a positive behavior management approach.
Requirements
  • A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar social care setting.
  • A valid UK driving license and current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
