Various shifts available between 6am & 6pm

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Bakery Team Member who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards in our store. As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Store Manager and play a vital role in enhancing sales and profitability by executing assigned tasks that contribute to the ongoing improvement of the store and the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items for customers.
  • Manage cooking processes in the ovens for hot food products.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings and accurately communicate options to customers.
  • Present and package food orders neatly for customers.
  • Restock sandwiches to ensure availability during operating hours.
  • Utilize the till to process orders, handle payments, and provide correct change.
  • Comply with all operational processes, policies, and procedures set by Greggs and the company.
  • Adhere to food handling, safety, and sanitation standards in all aspects of food storage, preparation, and service.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Prior experience in a similar role or industry is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of health and food safety regulations in a food service environment.
  • Ability to contribute innovative ideas for enhancing customer service and advancing business objectives.
